We are looking for Area Sales Manager, based in Sweden

Main objectives

Together with the Nordic team responsible for running the Nordic country organization and growing the business according to company strategy:

  • Improve business on short and long term
  • Implement elobau country strategy in-line with global strategy
  • Develop team and business relations between key customers
  • New client accounts aquirement
  • Deliver sales and margins according to agreed targets and company systems

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and extend the elobau key customer relations
  • Geographic sales responsibility for Sweden and Norway and other agreed areas
  • Setting and reaching business objectives for sales, profit and growth of the subsidiary as a part of elobau strategy and target settings for each year.

Area of responsibility

  • Responsible and accountable together with the Nordic team for the entire elobau business activity in the designated Market segment and/or Region.
  • Together with the Nordic team full P&L/Balance sheet responsible
  • Manage sales process of elobau products, current and new products, into the Region and surrounding markets
  • Continuously push for and identify new business opportunities in the Region and support global projects

Personal tasks

  • Strategic responsible for business in cooperation with line manager
  • Build and follow up management systems together with the Nordic Team
  • Bringing in ideas to product development and new business opportunities
  • Position will contain travelling 


Stockholm (office in Nacka), we can consider placement south of Stockholm as well

  • Master / Bachelor degree within engineering

Preferred experience

  • Experience from management within technical sales, supply chain or manufacturing in similar businesses.
  • Experience from industries like Off-Highway machines or/and strong interest in this expertise area
  • Proven track record within sales and sales management with previous success stories of customer acquisitions
  • Relevant network within the industry or/and knowledge and understanding of the industry
  • Firm understanding of the industry value chain
  • Fluent in written and oral Swedish and English
  • German knowledge both languagewise and culturewise is a sufficient plus
  • Need an overall good business understanding:
    • Ability to see opportunities outside of the box
    • Ability to communicate/negotiate with all types of stakeholders to the business
    • Financial abilities and good negotiation skills
    • Broad experience in day-to-day decision making
  • P&L responsibility (division or entity)
